Mount Rainier - Emmons Glacier Route

 I was the leader of this BCMC climb up Mount Rainier. Unfortunately, at around 13,000 feet one of the members of my rope team developed a serious case of high altitude sickness. I made the decision to allow the second rope team to carry on (they summited succesfully and returned safely), while I sacrificed my summit bid to escort the stricken climber safely back to Camp Sherman. All's well that ends well.
