Our trusty steed parked at a rest stop at the junction of Highway 11 and the Icefield Parkway. You can see the majestic Rocky Mountains in the background. PS that's one happy Volvo owner in the passenger seat ;)

Alberta mountain landscapes on the Icefield Parkway. We saw several glaciers and experienced a couple rain squalls during this section of the drive. Ironically the weather was cool and wet but comfortable for us, while Vancouver was experiencing a heat wave!

Richardson International's new grain elevator in Alberta was built in Huallen (near Grande Prairie) and was expected to be completed by fall 2021. The facility features a high-throughput design, 45,000 metric tonnes of storage, a loop track to load 150 rail cars, and was to be followed by a retail crop inputs facility.

A fitting statue for the town of Beaverlodge in northern Alberta. It is located on Highway 43, 43 km west of Grande Prairie and 48 km east of the British Columbia border
